Why did I make this list?
Since I started The Purse Queen, reader after reader has shared with me their experiences of being scammed. These awful sellers sell replicas that are either subpar or, worse yet, non-existent, leaving us buyers with nothing but disappointment and anger.
This not only harms the shoppers financially but also gives a bad reputation to other honest replica sellers. That’s why I have started collecting some names and publishing them here.
I hope this opens up a great dialogue between shoppers and sellers and allows us to help warn shoppers to stay away from certain sites and sellers that have proven to be nothing but trouble!
What Sellers will be added to the list?
If a seller or website gets enough negative reviews I will add it to the scam list.
- Don’t deliver on time(without reasons or advance notice) or at all
- With poor customer service or who don’t respond to complaints
- Ask for personal information or payments upfront
- Use pics that don’t belong to them or sell items that don’t match the photos they display
- Promise for high-quality products and charge a lot but end up selling items of low quality

PurseValley has a bad reputation because of lots of negative reviews. The person behind it, Eva Knox (also known as Sophia Nolan), also had a blog called Spotbags. She and her “followers” wrote reviews on this blog to promote PurseValley.
PurseValley was shut down in July 2017 after being busted by US and Chinese authorities, with Alibaba’s assistance. Fake sites emerged afterward, even though they were not run by Knox and her associates. It’s still wise to steer clear of these sites like pursevalley.ru and pursevalleyvip.cn for safety.

Jennifer is a bait-and-switch seller. She uses pictures of authentic products to trick people into buying low-quality items. Many people have said that when they finally got the bag they ordered, it was the wrong size, and it didn’t look as good as it did in the pre-shipment video. And she often ignored customers’s messages. She even changed her Instagram username at least five times when she realized she had been exposed. Annie Lin is a seller of replica jewelry who took money from a lot of customers. People have said that after getting PSPs, Annie stopped communicating and ignored all the messages that followed. Many buyers have lost a lot of money dealing with her. Feyre had told buyers that she was located in Turkey and claimed that because it was close to Europe, all the leather used to make the bags came from France or Italy. However, the packages were actually sent from Vietnam. Based on the emails I have received from readers, there were two cases where customers didn’t get their orders. In one situation, Kinga blocked a customer on WeChat when she asked for help because her package might have been lost or seized. In another order, she didn’t give the tracking number or any evidence that she shipped the bag. - No return or refund policy
- Poorly written product descriptions or listings
- Poorly designed or outdated website
What to do if you’ve been scammed?
There is still hope if this is your situation:
- Product quality is far below your expectations
- Received the wrong items
- Product didn’t deliver on time
Talk to the sellers to find out what happened and try to negotiate with the seller to see if it’s possible to get part of the refund.
If the seller stops responding, to be honest, there is not that much you can do to get the money back, but I encourage you to comment below about any sites that have ripped you off while shopping for a replica of any kind whether it be a handbag, shoes, or even a watch.

I had the weirdest rep dream.i was wearing my chanel cf and my cousin saw it and started crying because she got jealous I could afford the bag . I felt so bad for her but I couldn’t tell her it was a rep because she’s judgy ( in real life too) so I told her it was second hand and I had to hide it away never to wear it again in front of her. I was having a doctors appointment yesterday and I took my replica LV bumbag with me, it was stuffed to the max with a bottle of water (surprisingly fits!), a mini hand fan and lots of other stuff – this thing can hold a ton.
Sitting in the waiting room, I pulled the zipper to close the bag and it happened, right there in front of other people… the zipper tag snapped. I was soo angry and mumbled „shit“ to myself because I thought I could now throw the bag in the trash and I was humiliated for ever.
I kept the ripped off zipper pull and when I got home I thoroughly inspected what the problem was. Turns out nothing really broke, the metal which the zipper pull was attached to was stretched so far that it was coming off easily. My husband and his beloved tool case fixed the problem in no time, bumbag is as good as new 🙏🏻
I wonder if this problem occurs with the auth bags too? Whatever, it’s a 2 year old bag, still going strong 😄

I’ve had some experience with Lily from DD. I purchased two bags after reading reviews on this blog, and it was a generally positive experience. Lily is friendly and reliable. Just make sure it’s not the fake DD, then you are safe.
Allergy Help! Anyone know which sellers/factories sell nickel-free / hypoallergenic jewelry / bag hardware?
I recently noticed that my nickel/metal allergy has gotten worse and doctors have told me it will continue to do so. I found I now react to my Celine box purse hardware and wanted to know if there are any others out there with the same issue, and if you have managed to find sellers/factories that use hardware without nickel in it? Any advice would be appreciated, I want to buy other bags but have been afraid to do so in case I’m allergic to those too! Thank you!
For jewelry, I pretty much have to go 18k or 18k plated or my skin gets irritated, and I doubt that factories would specially make nickel free hardware given that it would cost more. I think there are coatings that you can apply like a topcoat to hardware tho? Something like nickel guard or other brands might help

looking for some advice on how to handle a seller sending me the wrong size bag…
I ordered a Loewe Luna, which comes in a standard size or small size. I specified that I wanted the small, and send a screenshot of the product listing from the Loewe site. The seller sent factory photos of the small size and I confirmed. It wasn’t clear from the PSPs that the bag I got was the standard size instead of the small (the size difference in only a few inches, so it wasn’t noticeable), so I GLed it, but I got the bag today and it’s the wrong size. 🙁
I reached out to the seller and she said she hadn’t measured it and that the factory must have sent the wrong size, and offered to refund me $30. I’m super bummed because I really only like the small size and don’t think I’ll use the standard size much, but she said a return isn’t really a viable option. Should I just cut my losses and take the $30, or try to push for more of a refund?
That sucks but it does seem like an honest mistake on the seller’s part, especially if you yourself couldn’t tell the difference from the PSPs even though the size difference was a dealbreaker to you. If you’re truly not ever going to carry that bag, maybe you can sell it and ask the seller for a steeper discount to purchase a small luna from her (and insist on rulers to show measurements in the PSPs).
You can’t push for a refund because you GL the PSP. Even if seller get it wrong, it’s still on buyer to QC the PSP. At this point, I say just BST the bag and buy the correct size.
That’s fair, I definitely should’ve asked for measurements before GLing the PSPs. lesson learned!
at what point do y’all start to get concerned over the lack of PSPs or updates from a seller? this has literally never happened to me before. i paid for an order on 28 aug, sent the seller a whatsapp message yesterday asking if there were any updates, since it had been past two weeks at that point. saw they opened my message, and nothing.

I ordered a belt from from a seller I found on ins. When she sent me the PSPs she mentioned it was slightly different in color from the factory pics. It honestly looked very similar to me so I GL’d it. Well it just arrived and it’s totally different! I know PSPs can vary based on light source but this is a totally different color. Thoughts?

So upset. Just received my first rep purchase in 7 years — a Monogram Neverfull. I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the bag has two big call outs that make it unusable. I pulled the bag out to wear it for the first time and noticed that the alignment is way off on the front. The pattern is too high (compared to the authentic).😢😢😢

Do we call out sellers passing reps as real? My friend happily shared to me how she ordered a bag from a personal shopper from milan through IG. She got a very good deal for a bnew bag until I checked their feed and the background looked familiar! Price converted is 3275 USD. Did not tell my friend yet because she ordered a different bag and these are only their stock photos, but why would they have a rep factory photo?
They have rep factory photos because they are selling reps. I would tell your friend to carefully compare their photos to authentic. Doesn’t sound like your friend knows you buy reps, so that might be the only way to let her know she might be overpaying by 3 thousand.

Can you dispute if you paid through friends and family? After a month, I would assume that the seller wont send you your item.

Don’t you hate it when you start feeling like you’re falling out with your favorite seller? Lately James (shoe seller from DHGate) was my absolute favorite. So easy to purchase from him, super quick, honest about quality and tiers. And also the best prices I’ve found. Yet my last three purchases he was so uncommunicative about. The first I said “oh well maybe he’s busy” and I didn’t mind. The second is a watch that arrived with the bezel kind of off (sometimes it runs and then suddenly stops). For this I didn’t mind because I chose the low tier to try out so I kind of thought “it’s my own fault”. And finally I was looking for shoes, he said he had the item, I paid and days later he was asking me to change colors because he didn’t in fact have the item. Mind you, he’s super reasonable and gave me a refund. But I just don’t feel the same level of trust as before?

I think I have officially done with this dealer named Sky. I received the Fendi First shoes with a knife-cut scar and the leather is all wrinkled up. Sky insists that I cut the shoes when I open the package, but I use scissors so impossible to cut that way. I understand that Sky’s product is not great and definitely mid-tier shoes, but this is just unacceptable. Apparently, Sky gives me a discount next purchase, so I kinda suspected that Sky knew the problem but didn’t tell me and sent a picture-perfect one as PSP. But yeah I’m done with Sky.

I purchased a YSL Lou from a seller named Kelvin, and the strap broke within a month. 😔😔😔 I’m able to clip it back onto the loop, but it pops off within hours. Super embarrassing when this happens while the bag is in use.
I messaged the seller and he said he’ll ask the factory about a replacement strap but he’s expecting me to pay for shipping. I paid $190usd for the bag, and while that’s a fraction of the auth price, it’s still a lot of money! Am I being unreasonable thinking I shouldn’t need to pay for shipping? Courier shipping typically runs usd $20 or $30.
The bag is unusable currently and needs the strap. I’m worried the new factory strap will run into the same issue.
How call-outable would it be if i bought a black leather strap with a lobster clasp from amazon or etsy? At least I know the strap will be secure instead of spending the money on shipping and having the new strap not work out.

Take it to a cobbler & see what they suggest. I wouldn’t ship a bag back due to the expense. Not calloutable in any case imo, since it’s always possible to have an authentic bag that got damaged & needed a replacement/repair

I usually tend to avoid discussions or fights with Sellers, but these last 4-5 months have been the most frustrating I have ever experienced so far regarding rep life. I do accept and understand that some events will not depend from the Seller’s direct actions and that factories might be hectic at times, but if there is something that really drives me nuts it’s when a Seller tries to tire me out and gaslight me into a sale.

There was a glaring difference so he offered me a refund of of 50CNY (approx $7 USD 🙄) and a discount on a future order. What are your thoughts on used auth? Where is the best place to buy? I’ve seen a number of reps on Poshmarks, and a few highly suspicious ones on TheRealReal. I feel like Fashionphile may be the most trustworthy, but would love some opinions from people who have purchase second-hand bags
I’m very hesitant to buy resale now that I know what the repworld is like. I tend to consider it on a brand by brand basis, since some brands and styles are so well repped while others aren’tp at all.
In other words, I probably won’t ever buy a resale LV PSM, Métis, or Neverfull but I would consider Chloè or Givenchy
I personally am not a fan of TheRealReal because I haven’t had the best experiences both buying and selling with them. I find Fashionphile and Rebag to be comparable in terms of reliability, but you really just have to thoroughly QC their photos versus the authentic since you’re at the mercy of their authenticators.
I’ve bought twice from fashionphile and been happy with my bags. I would stay away from TRR, they have a terrible return policy and there were a ton of articles recently about how they mishandle items and are sometimes overwhelmed by stock and deadlines, didn’t give me confidence in their authentication process.
Received my St Louis and I’ve got to say, I’m disappointed with the feel of the handles. I chose the more expensive one with the supposedly real leather trim, but they feel super plasticky. Is this how it’s supposed to feel?
I got one in white and the handles started peeling so I’m not sure what to think. My black one is holding up okay but I haven’t used it as much.

Yes, I had an issue with the glazing on a mini puzzle – it melted in transit and then stuck to itself and made a huge mess. The seller didn’t offer any refund or anything, partially as it was a sale bag and so not expected to be as good quality. I’ve never worn the bag as I’ve not been able to fix the damage so it just sits in the back of my wardrobe for now (probably until I donate it).

Yes!!!!!!!! Got a big I spent a pretty penny on from a seller named Apple and it came severely misshapen. It’s been nearly 2 years and nothing I do will fix it. Never even wore the bag. Waste of a few hundred dollars. It was VERY clearly not packaged properly.

Yes! I’ve made purchases that the tracking appears bogus and all of a sudden I get my package. Only been burned once from DH a long time ago and that was quality, but never had a package not show up. They are SLOW though…
I have gotten a refund before. Ask the seller again for the tracking number sometimes it takes a second for DHgate to put in the tracking number. Also put the tracking number in the chins post tracking system that usually works for me!
I get all my stuff through DHgate I have found everything of great quality and way cheaper than buying replicas from others. And you won’t have an issue getting your money back or contacting the bank. Some sellers unfortunately move slow but most I have found are on it
I honestly believe chanel are trying to stop certain sections of people from.buying it. They’re probably not wanting normal people carrying it. For such snobbery I’m glad I’m buying reps now and I don’t feel guilty

Am I the only one that feels like the average quality of the service offered some sellers has declined so much? The packages are super late all the time and the quality of items has become a hit and miss

Does anyone have any good ones that are similar to the lululemon style and can still hold a decent amount?
Has this happened to anyone before? I bought some stuff at AE, a bag and a couple of costume jewelry. Both got combined shipping. The bag arrived fine but the costume jewelry was some iPhone cases. The seller (which is well rated and has tons of real appearing reviews) says it should have arrived (which the tracking says it did) 😭 —was it switched by someone ?
Need help ladies!! How do you treat your colored bag? Black leather didn’t stressed me out with treatment. I just got a Loewe hammock in tan color but she feels a bit dry to me and I want do put some treatment or protector for discoloration!
Bick for lighter bags and protect with carbon pro spray. Leather honey is great too. I have cread it can darken very light leather tho.
I asked for pricing on a quilted red boy bag… & apparently it’s only available with the chevron right now, & it’s a bit more expensive than I really want to pay… should I wait & see what comes out, or just suck it up & buy now while I can at least get the color I want?? Don’t buy from someone named Miya! Both my Cartier bracelets have broken in ways I didn’t think possible, the lock mechanisms broken on both!! Unfixable!! What was the outcome of your canceled shipment? I just had my shipment canceled by an ae shop that I have purchased from successfully before. Not sure if the refund happens automatically or if I have to request it.
They wrote back saying they had to check with the logistics company, & it was refunded automatically a little bit later (I want to say it was 7 days total before I got notice it would be refunded, & another 3 days before I saw the money come back? I didn’t have to do anything formal to get it taken care of

A few days ago on ins. a poster (whose history I combed and seemed legit) posted their goods. It was a gorgeous raffia ysl I’ve never seen before and they said they got it from a seller they’ve used for years named Hong/linda and gave their info which started with a +86 (china number) so I stupidly decided to take a chance and use her. She takes PayPal f&f and when I sent the funds it got converted to British ps which should have been my first red flag. And then I sent the funds and it was to the most white sounding name ever. I’ll update on whether I actually get the bag or not. Thankfully it was only a bit less than $200 so not super expensive but feeling pretty dumb already right now ..

Should I be nervous? I ordered 2 pairs of shoes (Tory Burch Miller sandals and Valentino sandals) from Lucky Cat on 2/12, she told me the would be done asap. It’s now 3 weeks and she first asked me last week if I could “exchange one of the pairs of shoes”, then told me she asked a new factory to make them + plus give her three days… it’s been a week now and yesterday when I asked if they were done yet, she told me that she will have them today. It’s just so peculiar bc I have always ordered from her and this has never happened before. Fingers crossed I get them before the vacation I ordered them for😭
I’ve had a similar experience! I tried her out for the first time and she said she had something in stock so I paid, then she asked me to wait a week for PSPs, when I checked in she sent me PSPs of the same bag but clearly lower quality. Then told me the “other batch” I would need to wait a few weeks, so I did and checked in again. She then sent me PSPs finally and I GL. After I had to check in again a week+ later for tracking. Seemed like I always had to check in for an update and she tried to pull a fast one on me with the “different batch” which honestly was so different from the factory photos. All in all took a month to just get the item shipped.
Same! I have to keep reaching out to her and asking. I’m at the point where I just want a refund, but I’m scared to because the ball (my money) is in her court.
Yea this experience really put me off of Lucky Cat, it’s a bummer because she had so many good reviews. I don’t think it’ll hurt to ask? Might expedite your shipment.
Im very naive and gullible, but I’ve noticed that every time y visit aliexpress , my email gets full of spam. I thought it was only with DHgate, and try not to go there. This measure decreased the spam, but AE still does it in a good amount. I go super fast to delete all the spam and empty the spam bin,but it happens all the time. I think it’s good to use a different email. But, don’t doit🙃

This one is an SOS. Has anyone experienced streakiness after applying a round of a cadillac leather to your bags? I recently did a round of conditioning on my puzzle and was left with this after a bag sat out to an hour or two with conditioner on.
I’ve conditioned other bags with this same bottle and method with no issue. Wiping the bag down didn’t work. Anyone have any ideas?
If not…I might flex my inner creative and try my hand at painting it
I’m not familiar with that conditioner (I use apple), I’m just going to put this out there as a suggestion – what if you apply it again? Perhaps it will re-wet the original application and allow you to fix it / wipe off entirely?

Got myself this stunning Chanel beauty for my birthday last month. It’s the bag of my dreams, and I believe no replicas can match the charm of vintage authenticity, so I knew I had to go for the real deal. Hey there, I’ve got this fake LV bag that honestly makes me cringe. The style is alright, but the color is way off, and I just can’t bring myself to use it.
