Maria was not wrong. The differences are pretty noticeable. When putting them side by side together, we can easily see the size of the fake Goyard is slightly larger than the real one.

Now take a closer look. The green color is also a different type of green. The authentic one has a darker shade, which looks like Brunswick Green to me, while the replica Goyard card holder has a lighter shade, more like Forest Green.

Made of Vauzelles Calfskin, the leather part of the authentic Goyard card wallet has a smooth surface with a much more clear and sharp stamping. While the fake one has a plastic-y feel and can barely see the stamping, especially “MADE IN FRANCE”.

Okay, let’s take a even more closer look at the Goyardine Chevron print. As I mentioned in another post, the color of the fake Goyardine Chevron print would be duller, less vivid, and less distinct. Also, the dotted pattern and the letters are not as clear and sharp as the authentic one.
