Sheluxury.ru Review: Replica Chanel Caviar Quilted Flap Card Holder (Real vs Fake)

I’ve got something different for you today! Unlike my usual reviews, you can see it’s also a real vs fake comparison. Any idea why?

The reason is I bought this knockoff Chanel wallet from somewhere else instead of the replica sellers that I often shop from. And since this is my first purchase from this website, which is called sheluxury.ru, I‘d like to play it safe and start with a small item that I already own an authentic version of. This way, I could easily compare the craftsmanship, material, accuracy, and more.

Alright, let’s jump right into it and see how well this fake Chanel card holder from sheluxury.ru can do!

While I was browsing the website and searching for small items, I noticed that they were only selling Chanel 19 card holders in pink. So I emailed and asked them whether they had this Chanel caviar quilted flap card holder (btw online chat was not working at all). And a few days later, they responded back and said I was in luck.

And here I am, having these two cuties doing this review.

So you already saw the first pic. Tell me what do you think?

Anyone can notice the difference right away. I mean, the Chanel logo is not even close, right?

Now you might think I made a rookie mistake. As a matter of fact, I did ask them for PSP (pre-shipment photos), but maybe they forgot or sent them to the wrong email address. Moreover, I’ve been quite busy with my kid and work lately, and it wasn’t until the package arrived that I realized this step was missed. So basically they just sent the wallet without my approval.

Anyway, let’s continue. To be fair, the size is pretty accurate but the differences are also pretty noticeable. First of all, the caviar leather. Obviously, the grains of the replica Chanel wallet are less visible than my real one. The back pocket is also a bit smaller.

The shape on the side doesn’t have a perfect oval like the genuine one.

The flap and the stamping are not too bad.

The buckle is also alright. Only the color of the fake Chanel card holder is a bit brighter, but not so much obvious. It’s a “no one would notice it unless you put an authentic one side by side” difference.

Conclusion

Quality – 9/10

To be honest, the quality meets up my standards and didn’t let me down. No fufu smells, no loose stitching, and the structure is also sturdy enough. I deducted 1 point because of the shape on the side.

Accuracy – 6.5/10

But the accuracy is a big disappointment. If they do a better job on the hardware logo and the leather, especially the logo part, I would probably let go of the leather and still consider this purchase a success. I don’t know why they left that part, because I think it’s not hard to replicate the logo more accurately. Or they already know this issue, that’s why they didn’t put this Chanel card holder on their website page nor sent me PSP.
