Who are you?
The Purse Queen was started in August of of 2010 by me, Angie (short for Angelina), as a blog that reviews authentic & replica handbags I have purchased throughout the years, and replica websites as well. I am your typical fashion obsessed woman in her 30s (think Blair Waldorf or Serena van Der Woodsen post-Gossip Girl) based in New York, but frequently travel around the globe (my favorite vacation spot is essentially anywhere in Europe).
When I stepped over to the dark side of replicas there was zero guidance on where to shop, how to shop, what to shop for, and how to pick out a good replica bag so I was literally shopping blindfolded, and made many big purchasing mistakes along the way. I have been disappointed, scammed, and also amazingly surprised as to what I have been able to find throughout the years and believe I have gained somewhat of a strong expertise on the area of replica bags (I never thought I would know so much about fake bags – but hey, here I am!).
Why do you buy fake bags? Can’t you just afford the real deal?
Many people like to assume that those who purchase fake or replica handbags simply cannot afford to purchase authentic ones. This is a big myth as I am personally able to walk into any designer store and drop the money for the real deal, as I am financially fortunate, which is a great blessing, however the truth is I think many luxury goods are way overpriced and not convinced I am getting my money’s worth. I know I’m not the only one who believes this as many of my friends, and blog readers with deep pockets agree. Other reasons many have turned to buying replicas include that they want to make sure they love a specific bag before splurging on the real deal, or they want a spare bag to use while their authentic bag is kept in good condition (as they are hefty investments).
So after years of paying full price at Harrods, Nordstrom, Selfridges, and the designer boutiques themselves I took a plunge into replicas and mostly haven’t turned back since. However it is important to note that there are still many bags that I would only buy the authentic version of (and have) as their replica counterpart’s leave much to be desired. I believe I now know how to accurately guesstimate which designer handbags are most likely to turn out as a good as opposed to bad.
Why do you blog about replica bags?
As mentioned earlier when I began to shop for replicas the replica world was a scary place with zero guidance. There was very little information on sellers and every purchase was a gamble. This resulted on me personally wasting a lot of money before I got into the groove of replica shopping. I have created this blog to cater to a community of wonderful shoppers that seek both authentic and replica bags.

Hi Jen, since it’s illegal to sell replica bags this is a bit of a sketchy area when it comes to giving out advice. I personally give away bags I’m bored of to friends and family members. I guess you could also post an ad in your local classifieds to see if someone’s interested in bartering with you over the bag (don’t forget to mention it’s fake of course!).

I ordered from AAA on Feb 2. and have received NOTHING. I have sent 7 emails to them with no reply. I contacted Payoneer more than 10 times beginning March 1.
