My First Pair of Replica Shoes Review (Fake Gucci Shoes vs Real)

If you’ve read my replica bags reviews, you’re probably familiar with the name. 

When I made up my mind to snag a pair of those alluring Gucci shoes, I initially didn’t think about my usual sellers (the ones I go to for bags). 

Instead, I thought about finding a seller or website that specialized in shoes. So, I started my research journey.

Picture this: a sea of cheap replica Gucci shoes on my laptop screen.

After days of scrolling, comparing, and a bit of internal debate, I finally hit ‘buy’ on a pair from Louis. 

I know they’re more focused on handbags. But for me, “Best Place” means getting quality products from a seller who’s reliable and trustworthy.

I realized that even the sellers who specialized in fake Gucci shoes didn’t seem to have better quality, so I figured I might as well go with sellers I’ve had experience with. At least I can be sure they won’t just take my money and run.

At the same time, Xinya told me their factory has selectively expanded into shoes while ensuring quality, that’s why their shoe selection isn’t huge.

I tend to be tough on shoes, so I was hoping these fake Gucci shoes would satisfy me and save me some money when I eventually wear out my genuine ones.

And to make this review “less subjective”, I’d like to invite you to take part in it and guess which one is authentic and which one is the fake.

There is a slight difference in the appearance of the pearls.

You can notice a tiny difference in the depth of the “little mermaid scales”.

The stamping on the real Gucci shoe was like the replica shoe,
but it has worn off because the auths have been worn several times, while the replicas haven’t.

Review of my fake Gucci shoes

I kept my fingers crossed for an ace quality before I paid for my Gucci shoes. When I am QCing something, that’s my top priority. 

I look at things like how soft the leather is, the weight, and the craftsmanship – and these Gucci sneakers meet all those criteria.

When I spot a replica out and about, it’s not so much the accuracy that gets my attention; it’s the quality. If the leather or hardware looks cheap, I can spot it right away.

However, if a replica is exceptionally well-crafted, I probably wouldn’t even second-guess it, and I believe that’s the case for most people too.

Quality – 10/10

In terms of quality alone, these replica Gucci shoes feel just like the real deal! I was actually blown away. 

This was my first attempt at buying replica shoes and being a sneakerhead, I had firmly believed that those shoes could never match up in terms of the way they feel. I couldn’t have been more wrong!

Leather: What truly amazed me is how incredibly soft and smooth the leather feels. It feels like buttery smooth. In fact, it’s even a bit softer than the authentic pair.

Stitching: I must give a shout-out to the impeccable stitching. I can’t spot any loose threads or any visible glue.

Weight: I don’t have a scale to measure them, but in comparison to the authentic, they feel equally weighted.

Hardware: The pearls and spikes have an expensive look and feel.

Sole: The pattern on the sole is also consistent with the authentic one. The craftsmanship is well done and doesn’t look cheap. (I originally thought the manufacturer might cut corners here, after all, no one looks at the bottom of someone else’s shoes.)

Accuracy – 9.25/10

Once again, my primary concern is the quality of the shoes rather than obsessing over minute details being identical. But I’m being super nitpicky here for the sake of this in-depth review.

Overall shape: Looks fantastic! They appear identical to me. In real life, there’s nothing about the shape that would give away that they’re fake shoes.

Shoelaces: The one thing that I noticed right away in the PSPs and when I unboxed them was the laces – they’re a bit too thick. 

If I didn’t already have these sneakers or if someone else were wearing them, I probably wouldn’t notice. Since they can be exchanged, I’m not taking any points off for that.

Spikes & Studs: The angle and placement of the spikes on the back are spot on. The shapes are almost the same, but the spikes are a bit pointier and narrower, and the studs are slightly thicker at the top compared to the auth.

IMO, none of these differences are noticeable enough to be identified without holding the shoes and closely studying them for a few minutes. 

In the name of rep science, I’ll deduct 0.25 points for these tiny discrepancies.

Metallic Fabrics: The color on these shiny metallic fabrics is very good, but the stamping that looks like mermaid scales (sorry, that’s the best way I can describe it, LOL) appears somewhat shallower on these fake Gucci shoes.

However, it’s how I imagine they might look after a couple of months of wear, so it’s not a huge issue. -0.25

Pearls: The pearls on the replica shoes are slightly larger and less shiny than the authentic ones. But once the shoes are worn, I don’t think anyone would really notice. Still, they are different, so take off -0.25 for that.

Wearing Experience – 9/10

Upon wearing them for the first time, I noticed a few key aspects. 

Firstly, the comfort level was surprisingly high. The Gucci shoes dupes were padded enough to provide sufficient support for everyday wear. 

They felt as comfy as my real Gucci and other sneakers. 

I was prepared for a tough tongue that gave my feet blisters for a while. But the interior was so soft and supple. I wore them for a whole day and got no blisters at all at the end of the day.

However, there was a difference in the quality of materials compared to genuine Gucci shoes. 

The fake ones felt slightly stiffer and less breathable, but this difference could be because my real Guccis have already been broken in and softened by wear.

Satisfaction – 10/10

These fake Gucci shoes are incredible, especially considering the price. 

They’re exceptionally well-crafted and stunning. Definitely worth it! If I didn’t have my authentic pair right next to them, I’d have a hard time guessing they’re fake shoes.

How can anyone hate such a pair of high-quality and budget-friendly shoes? I adore these shoes just as much as my real ones!

Conclusion

I guess I’ve started down this path of buying replica designer shoes and there’s no turning back for me. I’m actually kinda kicking myself for not doing this sooner.

Shoes are usually about five feet away from our direct sight, and very often in motion, so it’s tough to QC (quality check) in real-life situations. 

You might put your purse on a table, or someone might grab it to take a closer look (yeah, that’s happened to me), but that’s not likely with shoes, especially when you’re wearing them.

Nobody’s going to closely inspect the brand inside your shoe, and they can’t really get a good look at the sole either. Plus, shoes, whether they’re authentic or replicas, can get worn out pretty quickly, making them look different from when they were new.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy authentic designer shoes – absolutely go for it if that’s your thing! But, don’t dismiss the idea of fake designer shoes too quickly. You can actually find some amazing gems out there.

And whether you’re shopping for the real deal or replicas, just be realistic with your expectations. Shopping for shoes can be tough, whether you’re in a store or browsing online. There’s always a bit of a risk involved!

You’ll want to pick the size that lines up with your measurement on the seller’s size chart, so measure your feet in CENTIMETER before you place an order. 

• Make sure you measure your feet while standing up.
• Measure both feet (because sometimes one foot can be a bit bigger than the other).

Here’s how I do it:

I just lay a blank piece of paper on the floor, stand on it with my heel against the wall and the edge of the paper, and then lean down to mark where my longest toe ends. Then, grab a ruler and measure the length.

Then tell the seller and see what they recommend. If you have like very wide feet, you should let the seller know as you may need to size up slightly depending on the shoe.
