I’ll mainly talk about ordering from albums because I get a lot of questions from readers on this. So, let me clear this up in one go.
Here are step-by-step instructions of ordering from albums:
1. If the album page opens up in Chinese, don’t panic. There’s a language selection in the top right corner, just switch it to the language you need.

Who sells the best Dior saddle bag?
Time to retire my auth neverfull as my travel/work laptop bag. I’ve had it for over a decade and has been my tried and true go-to bag but the straps are slowly weakening. I plan to take it to LV for repair but now it’s time to buy a rep replacement 😊 While I loved my neverfull, I’m looking for a “iykyk” piece since I plan to use it for work trips and don’t want anything too flashy.
Looking for something that will fit my 14” laptop, has zippers, fits under the plane seat, iykyk and not flashy. The Celine belt bag is my dream but won’t fit my laptop. You’d have to look into the sizing but maybe Hermes bolide, it’s a discrete bag that has a full zip.
Also (like many) have a rep Celine soft 16 that I use for work and it’s perfect. I one used my authentic Phantom and that did not work at all, that thing weighs a ton empty, full with laptop I thought I’d dislocate my shoulder. I’m very tempted by the puzzle tote but with no closure it’s a no go , not safe enough on the train commute 🤷🏼♀️
The Celine luggage does have a zip top but I hear it’s pretty heavy. The celine soft 16 is a more IYKYK bag (and I prefer the look), but it has a top flap closure rather than zip. Tbh I feel there really aren’t enough work appropriate totes out! I use the Celine seau sangle, BV medium Arco (men’s version) and oroton 15” worker tote as my work bags.

New to reps but have already bought a few bags and accessories from a few sellers already. Just canvassing best practices for security reasons: do you use your real name and address when having your reps sent to you? Sometimes, I feel very paranoid as I have read our info gets sold to scammers or the worst: US customs could revoke GE. Other times, I feel like nothing I do is that secure. 😕
I do use my real name in case I have to pick up the package myself. . I always ask for no boxes and to have dustbags turned inside out- I’ve never had any issues with customs so far.
I live in a condo so all the packages are delivered to the front desk, I’ve started using my stage name that all the front desk know me by so if they see it, they’ll instantly know it’s my package.
But before switching to my stage name, I used my maiden last name and misspelled my first name.
My package from Xinya just landed in my country and passed customs! It’s been a smooth process with her as always. I’m so excited to receive them- it’s been a while since I bought some LV bags.

Totally agree with you. I have so many pretty vintage bags. Just found a vintage millennial pink Valentino Garavani V bag for 30 bucks with crystals on the buckle. Never clicked checkout so fast. I also have a vintage black baguette bag with mirrors. It is my favorite bag of all times. I loooooove Fendi.

I know this topic comes up fairly often but I would love to hear your thoughts. I ordered 2 Chanel reps. I have a lot of other designer rep bags (just none as expensive as Chanel), and I am careful to space out wearing/introducing them into my wardrobe. But with the Chanel price increases (over $10k for the classic flap), I don’t know if these will be believable. I got them for myself for a milestone birthday, I’ve wanted them for over 20 years, and because I work my ass off. I earn a very good living, but I have an insane amount of student loans (most people in my profession do and know this). Do I just say I got a good deal on Fashionphile or eBay Japan? I won’t introduce both at once. I know some people don’t care if others know they buy reps-I respect that 100% but I do not want people to know. I feel like I will feel too self conscious and end up never wearing the bags. Thoughts?
It’s not cool for people to ask but it does help to have a story ready and stick to it. Dead relative “my grandmothers sister died with no children, just received a check, put most of it towards retirement, donated a bit (she always loved literacy stuff) and used some to buy my dream bags, now mind your business you nosy asshole”. Why is it anyone’s business what you spend your money on?

No one should be privy to information unless you deem them worthy of it and as such how you acquired them is none of their business.
Even in the industries I work in I entirely chose to not tell them when they asked how I afford those things. It’s none of their business, they also know I have multiple sources of income. I went from wearing Fendi exotics to Chanel. And quite frankly other’s opinions regarding that don’t matter to me.
Why did I bring the above up about me? Because I hope that you wear your bags and enjoy them without fear of what others may suspect or what not. I often find the biggest factor for anyone wearing anything designer is how they carry themselves, which I know is vague and encompasses a lot but it’s true.

Watched a YouTube video to learn how to fold my puzzle for her first trip. Folding the leather was very nerve-racking! There’s one panel that’s creasing very visibly, so I hope she bounces back well on the other end.
Folding the panels did reveal a bunch of edges where the finish was sloppy. You can see some what I think is unfinished leather peeking out on the bottom right of the bag.
Ughhhhh I just bought a new puzzle for work travel and tried this and got way too nervous. Maybe after I use it more. For now, it fits in my carryon without folding it and I can probably stuff it underwear and my tieks (in a bag).

I had the brilliant idea to get my vintage denin rep cleaned ( it really needed it), and part of the inner reinforcement came undone and crumpled up completely.
So I had to open up the inside to remove the crumpled reinforcement, iron it flat again, and now I’m in the process of reattaching the stuff – with hand stitching so future dry cleaning will hopefully work!

I keep EVERYTHING tbh until it completely falls apart so I really get you! If you’re not sure if you’ll miss it, put it away in the back of your closet for a few months (or however long you need) and see if you reach for it. If you don’t use it or miss it, it’s probably fine to be rehomed! I find this is the best way to test if I will actually regret getting rid of things, or if I am just overly attached to my junk 😂

Nordstrom is kinda janky smh. I bought a Mulberry Mini Alexa online last week and did in store pickup. Was definitely disappointed when I got it..it didn’t come with a box or dust bag..just sealed in a plastic bag like it came from Amazon and packed in a Nordstrom shopping bag. I’m lucky it didn’t have any dings or scratches 😒

When you’re Goldilocks and you’ve finally found the perfect, large, long-strapped, luxe, quiet, no-label, iykyk bag and you even went so far as to try it on in store and felt even more smitten, but alas, it’s not repped!
And no, I will not be spending $4k to get this bag, but I will complain about it here. I asked all my faves and the largest size repped is ‘L’ which doesn’t work for me.
I mean if a factory already makes this style, then how much harder will it be to ask for a larger bag to be made? I wish I could somehow convince a seller to make this. I would pay a premium for that custom order. Sighs again.

The color is one of things I love about the bag. Like a perfect neutral without being black or brown.
I think people in Asia prefer to carry smaller bags, so bigger sizes are not commonly repped. For a factory to rep something correctly, they probably need to get auth as reference

How are you guys finding the auth version of something you like? Spent all night shopping in a sellers album for clothes and everything is in stock but now I’m trying to find the auth version and it’s no where to be found. I reverse image search and check designer sites. The listings sometimes has the season and year but I’m guessing those are not true. Open to all suggestions. Thanks.

Honestly, I usually shop the auth sites, and then look or ask for the rep. So that I know it’s real. If I find something I really like in a seller album, I go down the rabbit hole of research and usually find it somewhere (often with reverse image search). Sometimes I find out items (usually bags or shoes) were super rare, limited edition, or a capsule or resort collections, etc. Then I have to decide if I still want it, knowing not many really exist in the world, and it’s often therefore rare and expensive.
Sometimes things are fantasy designs, some other times it can be things that were released in only certain parts of the world.

Speechless. I took interest in the classic flap back in 2014-2016ish maybe and it was about $5-6k. Now it’s nearly double. The WOC was only $1-2k at the time.
I’m going to keep buying reps. Perhaps I’ll consider buying an auth and keep it in new pristine condition – to hold as a gift for my daughter in the future. Because by the time she’s interested, who knows what it’ll retail for. Sheesh!
