The Louis Vuitton Girolata bag is named after a coastal town on an Island close to France and Italy, and I can definitely see why as the bag embodies the spirit of warm weather and everyone a person can love about summer. I actually purchased the bag during the summer of 2018, and never got around to having the time to review it until now! The bag comes in both Damier Azur, and Mahina leather.
I purchased the bag in the color Galet. The original price of the bag on the official Louis Vuitton website is $3,650 USD. I got it for about 1/8th of that price as a replica. The bag was purchased from LM, which is a new site I stumbled upon that specializes in Louis Vuitton replica bags.
My first Mahina leather replica bag was purchased about 6 years ago from a seller who is thankfully no longer in business. What came in the mail was a plastic-y piece of junk with horrible, inaccurate perforations, and I basically threw the bag in the back of my closet. I eventually ended up donating it to charity. So ya – I have been there and done that when it comes to getting burned when purchasing a replica bag.
I basically wrote off any replica bags that purported to be Mahina leather after that until two years ago when I decided to take the plunge and order a Louis Vuitton Babylone replica bag which turned out to be absolutely stunning and blew me away in terms of accuracy (you can read the review here). After I received that bag I knew that replica manufacturers had really stepped up their game when it came to Mahina leather replicas. This past summer I decided to chance it again and get a Girolata which was a newly released LV bag model.
Recently I got asked by a reader about where she can procure a good Michael Kors replica. I replied and told her that it is simply not worth it to buy a Michael Kors replica bag (or even a Tory Burch replica bag), and these are the reasons why:
LV knockoffs or replica Louis Vuitton bags are everywhere these days, and as other reviews on this blog have shown some of them are so good it’s almost impossible to tell they are fake. Unfortunately, that is not the case with this replica LV Monogram Alma bag, and this Designerpurses.ru review will make it clear why.
Now the bag doesn’t look horrible at first glance, and is a replica that many first time buyers are happy to get because it somewhat resembles the authentic version. However to anyone with moderate knowledge of Louis Vuitton’s handbags it is obvious that there is a lot wrong, so if you’re wondering what’s wrong with this knockoff Louis Vuitton bag, and at the same time want to improve your “how to spot a fake Louis Vuitton” skills, this review is a must read!
While it is true that a Louis Vuitton knockoff should be much cheaper than it’s authentic counterpart, you should always be wary when a site is selling them for too cheap as that is a sign that the quality of their products is poor.
As this client who shopped at bagsheaven.cn reveals in the review I received by email, you can’t even expect mediocre quality at these prices, not to mention something that is actually good…or at least wearable.
This is not the first time I have heard whispers of bad things about this replica site, but this is the first detailed bagsheaven.cn review I received by email. Here is the content of the email I received:
I have big news for everyone! I will be overhauling the blog to make it more useful for everyone! The first thing is to note that the domain has changed from thepursequeen.wordpress.com to thepursequeen.co. In addition to this, I will be changing everything from the site design, all the way to how websites are recommended. Currently you will see that there is a recommended sellers page and I will be converting this into a sellers ranking page where I will feature all prominent sellers that are currently out in the market and rank them based on their product quality. I always get asked, “how good is seller x or seller y?” and in order to make the review side of the site more useful I will try to go through all popular sellers and offer a review of their quality based on my personal opinion, and opinions of blog readers that email me their own personal experiences!
This way I hope to expand the recommended seller list greatly, and even more importantly offer a better way of gaging who sells what type of quality so people can have better shopping advice! Another key change is that I will also begin to review authentic designer bags. As many of you know, most blog readers, and I myself own both authentic and replica pieces. I will begin to showcase more of my authentic collection, and offer reviews on these pieces as well as well as the sources where I got them from (e.g. consignment stores, the brand boutique etc.)! I will also be adding more guides to help discern between authentic and fake handbags. Overall I hope these changes will make the blog more useful!
These changes will be upcoming within the next few weeks, and months so keep your eyes peeled! If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments below!
